”Hope” exhibition is an inspiring journey through the terrible moments of war and the struggle for life.
In a series of watercolor spring primroses, created during a difficult occupation, the artist found refuge from terrible events, transferring the incredible liveliness of nature to paper. These flowers, embodying the color palette of spring that appeared against the backdrop of a war-torn house, have become a symbol of life, struggle and hope.
The paper on which the series is written is an amazing accident, because it is the only thing left in the empty rural store of the occupied village and, as if, was waiting for the artist, who was thrown there by the evil will of fate. How a folder of professional watercolor paper ended up in this wilderness is still a mystery.
Each painting in the exhibition testifies to the relentlessness of the human spirit and its ability to find beauty even in the darkest of times. The concept of the victory of good over evil permeates every work, inspiring viewers and reminding us that within each of us there is the strength to overcome difficulties.
This exhibition reminds us that just as nature continues to flourish even after destructive events, so we humans have the ability to fight and be reborn no matter what. Through the colors and shine of the petals, this series emphasizes the importance of continuing the struggle for a brighter future, both for nature and for our people.
About the artist:
Kateryna Harahulia studied at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Ukraine).
She is a versatile visual artist and designer with master degree , who has exhibited in major cities in Ukraine, Finland and Europe .

Artists made a decision that after the sale of the paintings, they donate money to charitable organization “Social Health Fund”, which helps disabled people, large families and elderly people in Ukraine with humanitarian aid and medicines.
Each artwork is unique and priced at 600 euros per art piece.

"Hope" -näyttely on inspiraatiomatka sodan ja elämän taistelun kauheiden hetkien läpi.
Miehityksen aikana luodussa vesiväriteosten keväisten helokkien sarjassa taiteilija on löytänyt turvapaikan kauhistuttavista tapahtumista siirtämällä luonnon uskomattoman elinvoiman paperille. Näistä keväisen väripaletin välittävistä kukista, jotka ilmestyivät sodan runteleman talon taustalle, on tullut elämän, taistelun ja toivon symboli.
Sarjan maalaamiselle käytetty paperi on uskomaton sattuma, sillä se on ainoa asia, mikä jäi jäljelle tyhjässä maaseudun kaupassa miehitetyssä kylässä ja ikään kuin odotti taiteilijaa, joka oli heitetty sinne kohtalon pahan tahdon toimesta. Kuinka ammattimainen vesiväripaperin kansiö päättyi tähän erämaahan, on edelleen mysteeri. Jokainen näyttelyn maalaus todistaa ihmishengen sinnikkyydestä ja sen kyvystä löytää kauneutta jopa synkimmissä ajoissa. Hyvän voiton pahaan käsitteen voi aistia jokaisessa teoksessa, inspiroiden ja muistuttaen katsojia, että jokaisessa meissä on voimaa voittaa vaikeudet.
Tämä näyttely muistuttaa meitä siitä, että aivan kuten luonto jatkaa kukoistamistaan tuhoisien tapahtumien jälkeen, niin meillä ihmisillä on kyky taistella ja uudelleensyntyä, oli tilanne mikä tahansa. Näiden kukkien värien ja hehkun kautta tämä sarja korostaa taistelun jatkamisen tärkeyttä valoisamman tulevaisuuden puolesta, sekä luonnolle että ihmisille.
Taiteilija on tehnyt päätöksen, että maalausten myynnin jälkeen hän lahjoittaa rahaa hyväntekeväisyysjärjestölle Sosiaaliterveyden rahastolle (“Social Health Fund”), joka auttaa vammaisia, suuria perheitä ja vanhuksia Ukrainassa humanitaarisella avulla ja lääkkeillä. Jokainen taideteos on uniikki ja maksaa 600€.
